Commercial car park, Campbellfield

Another commercial car park for a freighting and logistics depot in Campbellfield, Victoria. Over 20,000 square metres of machine finished concrete, giving large and small vehicles plenty of space to load an unload freight.

As this was quite a large car park, we broke these pours down into 800 – 1000 square metres due to the construction joins that had to be installed.

Keeping a sharp eye on our levels was key to ensuring that there where no flat spots that could hold water. All levels ran to drainage pits to which we also install.

Commercial car park slab

This is a Commercial/Industrial grade car park at St Monicas college Epping. This is a typical heavy-duty graded car park, constructed to withstand the consistent use of vehicles.

There is a large pit in the middle of the job to which we were able to base all of our heights.

Lastly, the saw cuts in any car park should not only be for expansion but also a feature on its own.

Exposed Aggregate Driveway & Footpath in Melbourne

Genform Concrete recently completed a residential concreting project in Melbourne. The aged, cracking concrete was removed and an exposed aggregate finish driveway, footpath and surrounding stippled finish concreting was completed renewing and adding charm to this beautiful weatherboard home.

Slab extension

This slab extension was poured early 2015 on a fairly small town house in Port Melbourne.
It was a waffle pod design with two extra bedrooms a bathroom and a back porch.

Under slab for Outdoor Entertaining area in Hillside

This outdoor entertaining area is an under slab meaning it is going to be covered by another type of finish.
In this case that other finish will be a spray on sandstone paver that will be completed further down the track.
Our aim for this job was to pour the concrete and make sure it had the correct falls, leaving it with a trowel finish and enough texture remaining on the surface for the spray on material to grab a hold of.

Exposed Aggregate Driveway in Williamstown, Melbourne

This exposed aggregate is called Gippsland OW and consists of large and small aggregate (stones).
The driveway also has a lovely course of bluestone pavers that run right through the middle of it.
It is situated in the suburb of Williamstown and has a very ‘beachy’ feel about it.

Outdoor Entertaining Area in a Red Brick Stencil Design

At the beginning of July Genform Concrete commenced works at the Footscray aged care facility. The project was an outdoor area that led into a brand new portable complete with two footpaths all in red brick stencil.
All of the works are easily accessible for the elderly and wheelchairs.
